Conference Energisers

Rather than inflicting death-by-PowerPoint on your delegates, at Zing we strongly recommend introducing several short-and-sharp energising activities into the programme over the course of the day to keep people mentally sharp and maximise the conference itself.

For years, we have seen the positive impact that an interactive ‘up-on-your-feet’ exercise has on productivity, and believe that they are paramount to a successful and enjoyable day.

EXAMPLE ENERGISERS

Human Bingo (15 mins) – Provide us we a fact about everyone in your team and a name. The group must then circulate the room to find a name for all the facts on their sheet and call bingo.
Boomwackers (20+ mins) – Each member of the group is given a plastic tube which plays a different note. They are then lead by the presenter to make music.
Knowing me, knowing you (15 mins) – The senior managers will be on stage, the presenter will read out a funny fact. The audience has to vote who they think it is. The presenter then gets to the bottom of the story.
Group Juggling (20 mins) – As a whole team you will get taught how to juggle as one team passing the juggling ball onto the next person while receiving a juggling ball from your other side.
Mini Stroke of Genius (20+ mins) – The group will break up into smaller groups where they will have to paint a section of their company logo. They then have to work together as a team to put the whole picture together.

Speed networking (20+ mins) – Just like speed dating, you must go from table to table. We provide a starter subject and then its up to you. A great way to get to know your clients.
Mexican Railway (20+ mins) – Pairs must construct a contraption that can carry a ball from one end of the room to the other.
Newspaper tower (15 mins) – Teams are given limited materials and have to work together to construct the tallest tower. Balloons can also be used.
Egg Drop (15 mins) – Small groups are given an egg, and some very simple equipment. They have to construct a case that will protect their egg on a fall of 2 metres.
