GPS Discovery - Treasure Hunt Overview

Take the path less travelled for your next team building event with our fantastic GPS Discovery Treasure Hunt that uncovers local areas of interest and leaves teams wanting more. The journey really is more important than the destination has never been truer, as the saying goes.

The aim of the challenge is to navigate the city, visiting GPS hotspot locations and collecting as many tokens as you can, which can be exchanged for points and added to the Live Leaderboard which streams throughout for added excitement; there are three types of level-up tokens which equate to bonus points – but keep on your toes to evade the wondering digital hunter-ghosts which will bleed you of points if they catch you!

The content is varied and engaging – including photo and video based challenges where creativity is rewarded! We have positioned GPS Hotspots in areas which showcase the City best, including landmarks, architecture and the plain quirky – with questions and conundrums that are geographically specific to the area. 

How Does it Work?

Introduced and welcomed by our live in-person event team, and accompanied by the latest iPads and award winning App of your chosen City, teams will go head to head to win as many points as they can – but not before they’ve gathered the team and prepared for Discovery, by taking a team Selfie. 

Our App provides teams with a Google Maps interface style dashboard that is a challenge loaded map, ready to be explored by the touch of their iPad screen. To activate the GPS Hotspots teams must physically visit them to activate their next challenge. Much like a game of pacman you’ll be able to see the exact whereabouts of the competition at all times; using the digital weaponry at your fingertips – you can ambush teams, commandeer their points, and even freeze them out of the game temporarily. Big on laughs – and big on strategy.

Our event team are on hand throughout the activity – and conveniently reachable on the direct messaging functionality on our App.

This set-up fee covers all project management and pre-event coordination including publishing the game and sharing comprehensive joining instructions.

Yes, there is an economy of scale.

We prefer Credit Card to ensure payment is made in advance of the event. You can however pay by BACS if payment terms can be met.

Simply check the availability calendar to see when we have spaces. We have a very large team of fully trained and charismatic Event Hosts - so only rarely are we sold out.

We provide the devices.

We’ve run this activity for 800 people at once - there is no upper limit. We would recommend that your whole group is more than 4 people.

We recommend 6-8 people per team, however there is flexibility if required.

The booking can be at whatever time or date you like - the booking will be exclusive to your group. We regularly run events for global teams so our team can nearly always accommodate you.

Bookings are based on minimum chargeable numbers, but if numbers do increase we will provide an invoice for any extras.
