GPS Explorer Overview
Our innovative GPS Adventurer is a fully interactive activity that provides you with a unique and interesting way to explore a location.
The GPS Treasure Hunt type event with it’s easy-to use advanced technology, will have your teams working together to answer interactive questions and complete brilliantly compiled, yet socially distanced challenges, all delivered through our App on your own device.
Guests will visit a variety of locations to unlock GPS hotspots containing a series of tasks and challenges. Each will require a team strategy and plenty of consideration to return maximum points for the team. Only once correct answers are submitted do we reveal the bonus point opportunity, which is the scavenger item you’ll need to hunt for.
You’ll be able to keep tabs on the competition throughout the game as there’s a live stream of photos being posted onto the photo wall throughout the activity. Big on laughs and an insight into the level of creativity within your group.
We haven’t just used technology for technology’s sake, it has enabled us to create a team building activity that gives us a more interactive team building experience which has been enjoyed by over 750 different companies in 22 different countries since 2011.
How Does it Work?
The event kicks-off with a comprehensive introduction and welcome from one of our Event Hosts via Web Conference Link (usually Zoom – but we can use alternatives if required) – we outline what guests can expect from the activity and how to leverage maximum points through creativity and team strategy.
Our GPS enabled App will display a number of Hotspots strewn across the Google Maps interface of the City your in – you’ll physically need to visit these hotspots to activate the challenges or questions that await.
Teams will be presented with a variety of questions, trivia and team challenges to encourage them to work together. You’ll need to keep tabs on opposing teams during the event and work against the clock to complete a range of challenges! Using the interactive map and a live scoreboard teams will need to quickly navigate via GPS to exactly the right location to activate tasks, questions and challenges, which include photo and video tasks designed to get team members interacting, working together and using their creativity.
The activity culminates in a presentation of funny photos and best attempts from rival teams to score points – it is guaranteed to leave guests feeling uplifted and their morale boosted.
This activity lasts up to 120 minutes
- Introduction to the activity by your live host (15 minutes)
- Group split into smaller teams of 6-8 participants
- Out and about – completing the GPS Treasure Hunt (90 mins)
- Wrap up and winners announced as one large group (15 minutes)

What is the “Initial Set Up Fee”?
This set-up fee covers all project management and pre-event coordination including publishing the game and sharing comprehensive joining instructions.
Is it cheaper if we have more people?
Yes, there is an economy of scale.
Can this activity be run as a Hybrid or Live Event?
Yes, we can run the activity as a virtual, hybrid or live activity
How do I pay?
We prefer Credit Card to ensure payment is made in advance of the event. You can however pay by BACS if payment terms can be met.
What are the cancellation terms?
We will always try and accommodate a date change, but within 7 days of your event there is a charge to cover each member of our cancelled team.
What availability do you have?
Simply check the availability calendar to see when we have spaces. We have a very large team of fully trained and charismatic Event Hosts - so only rarely are we sold out.
Do we have to use Zoom?
Whilst Zoom is our preferred platform, we can of course join whichever Platform you’d like us to. We have run it for Monster Energy on MS Teams and for Apple using WebEx for example
Can I play the game on my laptop instead of Smart device?
You will require a Smart phone or tablet to support our App.
What equipment do we need?
Each guest will simply require a Smart phone.
How many people can participate?
We’ve run this activity for 800 people at once - there is no upper limit. We would recommend that your whole group is more than 4 people.
How many people in each team?
We recommend 4-6 people per team, however there is flexibility if required.

When can my event take place?
The booking can be at whatever time or date you like - the booking will be exclusive to your group. We regularly run events for global teams so our team can always accommodate you.
What happens if my group numbers change?
Bookings are based on minimum chargeable numbers, but if numbers do increase we will provide an invoice for any extras.
