Second last day of the Zing UK locations road trip today, and we’re back down south in Reading! Keeping with tradition today we’ll be telling you a little about Reading itself, the venues we work with there and the corporate team building activities that we put in those venues.

Reading has some strong literary connections, as Jane Austen attended school there and Mapledurham house is the original setting for Toad of Toad Hall!

Another beautiful mansion house hotel that Zing loves to work with in Reading is Wokefield Park.

Wokefield Park, another De Vere venue, is a perfect venue for both outdoor and indoor team building as it offers mud buggies and high ropes outside as well as stunning indoor spaces and a fully equipped spa inside the building.

Stroke of Genius is one of Zing’s most popular indoor team building activities. Companies choose a logo of their choice that is then reimagined as an urban art design. Teams are split into smaller groups and then must each scale up and complete paintings that are put together to create a huge piece of artwork.

This collaborative team building activity really allows those involved to show their creative sides, and at the end of the activity your company is left with a piece of artwork which looks great on the office wall, and comes with a story.

Reading’s funny place names were a little lacking, only Crazies Hill and Pishill sparked a smirk. With one location left to go, fingers crossed London will have a stronger selection.
